Reverse of an envelope addressed by Bianca Giacometti to Odette Giacometti and franked in Rome on 21 November 1950. Alberto placed it in the Italian sketchbook (GS 224), apparently in memory of his sojourn in Rome in 1921, his relationship with his cousin at the time and the failed attempt to create a portrait head of her. Later he draws women standing on the paper as well as a head.
